Hi Pat,

Pam Newton Vanzant here. Glad you are coming. Every time I see a weatherman, I think of you. What are you doing now? I have been a good old federal employee (financial analyst) for 24 years at the Base in Albany, Georgia. See you at the reunion.

Hey Pam...I remember the crazy days of WMTM Radio in Moultrie. I then worked through ABAC and Valdosta State at different radio stations... started at TV44 in Valdosta, then Gainesville, Fl and Orlando. I went back to school... became a meteorologist and moved to Orlando. After 25 years of TV I published a children's book and now I'm a PR/Media buyer in Orlando.

I'm on Facebook.

Hey guys, gals and dolls! We need to get more photos up on our web gallery. If you have old photos of our school days or activities around those times, please upload them and share them with the rest of us. Take care and enjoy.

Has it been 30 years? 6 years in the US Navy and 24 years with Trane Commercial Air Conditioning in Atlanta. And 25 years of marriage to my wife Janet. Sounds like it may be fun.

This reunion will be a blast. We all need to dust off our yearbooks and see who we know and who we used to know then google them or look them up on www.whitepages.com. Try parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins of our school buds. We have a long way to go to reach everyone and a very short time to get there. Let's get moving. This will be the best Reunion ever and WE will make it that way with your help.

Hey, everyone! It's Tammi Bell Herring and I can't believe it's been 30 years! Seems like yesterday we were cruising around the Dairy Queen! I've been in the Atlanta (Gwinnett County) area since college and work with the school system here. I'm celebrating my 27th wedding anniversary the weekend of our reunion so I will not be there. Bill and I have 2 kids who are both married now. We even have a precious granddaughter who turned a year old this summer. Have fun at the reunion! Dance a little for me!

Thank you to everyone who put this class reunion together. I know I have rediscovered why I am fortunate to have you all as classmates.

Thank you to all the committee members who made this last weekend possible. It reinforced for me how much each and every one of you mean to me and how proud I am to call Moultrie home. Even though I had to eat crow in Alabama today over the football game--they sure know about the Class of 78 in Georgia!! Nobody can beat that.

Thanks to all the "1978 Reunion Classmates" who came and made this a most memorable event. Thanks to all the ones who traveled so far just to reunite once again. Doug and I think this was the best reunion yet. People were already talking about a 5oth Birthday Reunion before the weekend was over. Hope you all had a safe trip back home and we are surely looking forward to the next one.

Not that you haven't done enough already, but....I'd like to have any email addresses that you might have.

Also: I really blew it Saturday, I got tickets to the Georgia game Saturday morning and took off. Needless to say at half time I was thinking I drove all the way up here for this and I could be at the reunion dance. Not the right choice. It was good to see many of you Friday night. Thank you all MHS 1978 Classmates, It was absolutely the best reunion we've had to date and each one of you made it what it was. It was my goal to find every one of our classmates and without your cooperation and input we would never have found as many as we did. A particular and heart-felt Thank you to Renee & Toby for your support and Karaoke, you made Friday night a smashing success.
We are looking into a 50th Birthday Cruise and will keep you posted as details are defined. Please email me at CZipperly@aol.com to let me know of your experiences and preferences for Cruiselines and times of year. By the way, if any of you are in Valdosta over the month of October go to the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts. I have a painting "Hark" being shown with the "Georgia Watercolor Society Member's show" The opening is Saturday, October 4th from 4-6:00 PM. The show runs through November 13th. It is located at 527 N. Patterson St.
I love you all and look forward to our 50th birthday party.

Hi,everyone. What a great weekend! We had a lot of fun planning it, but the weekend itself exceeded my expectations.
After the reunion, we still had names to add to the database. We now have 150 names(out of the 364 we graduated with). I have asked the person in Matt Thompson's company who has been working with us to try to put it in a form we can post to this site. I am waiting on that now. If you need someone'e info before that, just let me know. Elaine

Hi everyone! Thanks so much to all of you for an absolutely wonderful reunion. I don't know when I've had so much fun and truly enjoyed myself so much. My only regret is that I wasn't able to be there Friday evening and missed seeing several of you that I really looked forward to seeing after all these years. Darn! We are so fortunate; I don't think there's a nicer, more sincere group of people anywhere, and we'll always share a special bond. "Forever friends" are rare. Take care and feel free to email me at charwynn2003@yahoo.com.

P.S. I went by the arts center in Valdosta to see Clare's watercolor. Wow, Clare! You're amazing!

If any of you are in Moultrie this weekend, come see me. I have a painting that will be exhibited with the Georgia Watercolor Society's National Show at the Colquitt County Arts Center (former Jr. High for us). The reception will be from 5-7PM on Saturday April 18th. If you can't make that go another time that is convenient. The show will run through May 25th. Remember there's only one of mine with aprox 75 others, but these were chosen out of 365 entries. It's a good show and I'll think you'll enjoy it.
